This book, Blacks and Technology: The Shift of Economic Power to Blacks in the Twenty-first Century is very intriguing because it is the first book written to seriously disclose the reason behind the poor quality medical treatments and limited scientific and technological skills among Blacks all over the world, particularly here in the United States. This book establishes historical facts that explain why blacks disproportionately suffer from poor health and inadequate professional health care treatment in the United States and throughout the world.

Raymond Chukwu, Republic nominee for United States Congress, A finalist competitor for United States ambassador to Nigeria, An aerospace engineer, and president of Black Technologies Advancement, Delivers hard-hitting evidence that, among other things, unveils the genesis of poor health care dating back to colonialism: Why Blacks today continue to experience inadequate doctor-patient care services. Why many false presumptions continue to exist today that connect certain serious diseases more with blacks than other group of people. These systems of medicine can, by no means, be considered empirical. They were base on a considerable amount of knowledge accumulated, by and large, through application of scientific method, individual observations and confirmation of these observations by others, formulation of hypotheses followed by testing of the hypotheses by experimentation. Granted that some of the tools employed were primitive but the approach was undoubtedly scientific. Accordingly, native black Africans were able to develop and introduce remarkable new drugs for treatment against various diseases, from plants and special illness- healing herbs, long before colonization. That is to say that native Black Africans were already well equipped to confront any medical problems among its people for the past several centuries. Suck capabilities led to miraculous successes in the control and treatment of many diseases in sub- Saharan Africa. These efforts contributed significantly to the continued popularity of plant-and herb remedies among native Black Africans, in part, because of the ready availability of these pants or herbs. Native sub- Saharan African herbs and plants achieved miraculous successes against various diseases long before the colonization. However, colonization seriously disrupted these miraculous succes and change completely the dynamics of the overal equation of unconvention and traditionla treatments with the native Black African herbs or Plants. I cannot emphasize enough the urgency for Blakcs to engage themselves with science- or technology- related undertakings. Native black Africans' limited access to technology is the root cause of Blacks problems all over the world today. I will tell you in a second why science or technology is the root cause of the current humiliation experienced by Blacks all over the world today.
